August Birthdays

A few years ago, we started a tradition of celebrating August Birthdays with a 'BURP'! Something about these August babies that pumps everyone up for a great time. The first year started with a surprise birthday dinner for Yogi. The party soon ended at a local club where Yogi was carried out the back door....haha... A memorable night for those who arrived on-time to see the action or lack there of.

Last year, we added Tiff and Tom to the celebration. We had dinner and hit the same club to finish off what should have happened the year before :oD This time I had no intention of leaving early and with the cooperation of our friends to hold back on the 'good stuff', Yogi and the crew were able walk out the front door in a straight line! We had an awesome time with just enough to drink, move, kick, scream, and even some pole action on the dance floor ;oD

This year, the party was at our house. We recently remodeled our home and thought it would be a great time to show it off and invite friends over to mingle on a Friday night. It turned out to be a party no less entertaining than the past. There were plenty to eat, drink, and play!

Obviously, another sober year was way too much to ask :oD But, this year Yogi (my poor baby) wasn't the only one who turned in early. Tom, I hope you felt better on Saturday. And surprisingly, our bday diva was left standing and husseling at the poker table. Even got 'J' rolling on the ground for his money back :oP

And, what was the rest of us doing? Well....

Some were enjoying the arcade basketball game while others preferred to get armed and dangerous...

Or just hang loose with the girls, like our cute little nephew, Dylan!

Happy Birthday guys! Make sure to join us next year for more of the same. We're just never too old to party.... all we need is the substance name alcohol and the sweet stuff

The next day we drove out to the bay area for dinner and clubbing with a few friends. We met a friend's new boyfriend from So Cal and we all know how much we like peeps from down there...haha...lets just say we have our moments ;oP Regardless, he seems to like sticking around so best of luck to them.
