Being Productive

Since our television has been disfunctional, we have been able to find other means of entertainment and just be productive.

We've been jogging around the neighborhood during the early evening hours and greeted neighbors along the way as they are out to spend time with their love ones and/or pets. The jogs at home has helped carried us through a weekend run for a good cause. Yogi and a friend jogged the 10k (6.5 miles) in about an hour. Another friend and I walked/jogged the 10k coming in about 30 minutes after. A beautiful trial nonetheless starting on Front Street in Old Sacramento weaving along the river through discovery park and back.

I have been reading Dan Brown's Angels and Demons. Just finished it last night and was very pleased with it. Although, I am not a religious person, reading about it has helped answered "why" some believe what they do believe. It was also great to follow the story through the beautiful city of Rome and the graceful grounds of the Vatican City. Many of the locations mentioned, my husband and I have personally been to during our Europe exploration a couple years ago.

Hope everyone gets a chance to read the book; a bit gruesome but if you're going to watch the movie (coming soon!) it won't matter.
